Stiff back by 6 pm. Fighting sleep at 3. A gym plan that died in February. And 9 more chair hours tomorrow.

Willpower was never the problem. The distance between you and the workout was. OfficeSquats makes that distance zero: the workout comes to your desk, ten reps at a time.

▪ The sitting problem

You can't out-exercise nine hours in a chair.

A single evening workout doesn't undo a sedentary workday. What changes it is breaking the sitting itself, many times a day, where the sitting happens.

01

What to do about back pain from sitting

Stop holding one position. Squats put your hips through their full range and load the muscles that hold your spine up, which is what a chair quietly switches off.

02

How to stop sitting all day

Not with a reminder you can dismiss. Your screen locks on the hour, so standing up stops being a decision you make and becomes the only way back to work.

03

How to fight a sedentary desk job

Nine short bouts beat one long one you skip. Ten squats an hour is 90 a day, roughly 40 kcal, and no gym bag, commute or change of clothes.

It locks your Mac until you squat.

The hour strikes. Your screen is gone.

A full-screen break covers every display, right on schedule and never mid-meeting. No notification to swipe away. No decision to make.

You stand up. The camera counts.

On-device pose estimation watches your hips and knees and counts every rep. Deep squats count. Half-hearted dips don't.

Ten reps later, you're back.

The screen unlocks, focus returns exactly where it was, and the whole thing took about a minute.

esc Snoozes it 5 minutes. It comes back. That's the point.

The OfficeSquats break screen filling the display: SQUAT BREAK, Time to squat, 12 squats about a minute, and a Start — camera on button, with snooze and skip along the bottom.
The actual break screen, covering everything you were doing.

Built for days that are actually busy.

Meetings, deadlines, agents mid-task: breaks are scheduled around your real workday, not an ideal one.

Seven questions tune your prescription. Two dials change it any time.

Never mid-meeting

It reads your Apple, Google and Outlook calendars and quietly waits for the free moment. Read-only, on your Mac.

Squat while your AI agent works

Breaks fire while Claude Code churns, without stealing your terminal's focus. The agent ships. You get stronger.

No guilt mechanics

Snoozing is one key, skipping is one click, and your stats are dots on a card, not a streak that shames you.

The camera never phones home

Pose runs on the Neural Engine inside your Mac. No video is stored, nothing is uploaded, no account exists.

The honest math against the alternatives.

Same desk, same hours, same clothes. The only thing that changed was who decided when to stand up.

Questions people ask

Which Macs does it run on?

Any Mac on macOS 14 or newer. The built-in camera is enough, and a desk webcam that only sees your upper body works too: the counter tracks how far your body drops, head to hips.

I work in an open office. Really?

Esc snoozes 5 minutes, skipping is one click, and breaks only fire inside the work hours and days you set. Or squat anyway and become the reason your whole row starts.

What does the camera actually see?

Frames go to the Neural Engine on your Mac, come back as 17 body points, and are thrown away. Nothing is stored or uploaded. Recording a clip exists only as a button you press on purpose, and the file stays in your Downloads.

Can I change the dose?

Squats per break and minutes between breaks are two dials in the menu bar. Start with 5 every 2 hours if your knees are skeptical, and turn it up as it gets easy.

What if it doesn't stick?

It sticks precisely because it doesn't rely on you. But if OfficeSquats isn't for you, reply to your Gumroad receipt within 14 days and you get your money back.

The chair isn't going anywhere.
Your excuse just did.
